About VCOM

VCOM is on the job 52 weeks each year, representing our interests to lawmakers and local government.

The political action committee founded by Tom McGrath in 1992, VCOM is the only state-based alliance of bikers in Virginia dedicated to defending and promoting all the issues that concern you as a motorcyclist on and off the road – personal liberty, safety, freedom of expression, political recognition, and respect. This mission is a full time job.

As a registered lobbyist, Director Matt Danielson is most visible during the General Assembly session every winter. But the fact is, much of the real work defending our right to ride and representing our interests goes on behind the scenes throughout the year on a one to one basis, motorcyclist to legislator.

VCOM is our organization, and Matt is working to make certain our issues and our voting power are recognized.

We’re making progress, but there’s more to be done. VCOM needs support now.

As a supporter of VCOM, 100% of your financial support is dedicated to making your concerns known to state and local officials.

VCOM’s Mission

To solicit support at the state and local levels that will defend and promote the rights of Virginia motorcyclists, and to keep our supporters politically informed, allowing them the opportunity to express their opinions to their representatives when important issues arise.
